WELCOME TO BRIGDEN PUBLIC SCHOOL

FOREWORD

Brigden Public School has been an integral part of the community for over 100 years.  Although there have been many changes in personnel over the years, the basic philosophy at Brigden has remained the same, providing a positive and rewarding educational experience for children for all ages.  This philosophy promotes a commitment to children and excellence in education.

Parents and the community play an important part in the education of children.  The cooperation between the home and the school in the educational growth of each child promotes understanding on the part of all the stakeholders in education.  Parents are welcome to come to the school or to call their child’s teacher or the school office with questions or concerns.

MISSION STATEMENT

Our mission is to provide a caring, safe and stimulating environment that allows for the intellectual, emotional and physical growth of children and to foster a relationship with the community to help nurture these goals.

It is only by working as a TEAM (parents, students, teachers and the community) that we will be able to accomplish our mission.
